Ocean County, NJ Allergy Symptoms Feel Like Covid
“Do I have Covid, or is the weather driving my sinuses crazy?” – Everyone in Ocean County right now.
Seasonal colds and anxiety-free allergies are sadly a thing of the past. Since the start of the pandemic, I can’t have a bad sinus day without going into a Google spiral about the symptoms of Covid-19.
So it’s not helpful that many Covid-19 symptoms mimic seasonal allergies. Nor is it helpful for Covid symptoms to vary as the virus mutates.
New Jersey weather has been everywhere. One day it freezes, the next day it’s sunny and then we start freezing again! My sinuses have had enough…and so has my anxiety.
How do you deal with your health anxiety when you experience these seasonal allergies? Everyone keeps telling me I need to stay off of Google! When I really doubt my health, I do a Covid test just to be safe. But when I’m sure it’s allergies I make sure to keep a mask on when I go out (because sneezing into other people’s spaces is disgusting – how did it take us so long to realize that?) region.
Like many others, I pray for the day when Covid will be a thing of the past. He has wreaked so much havoc in our lives! I can’t wait to get back to a normal spring in Ocean County where I can wake up and say “yes, those are definitely my allergies!”
Good sneeze allergy (remember to cover your mouth and wash your hands!)
